Using data from the national Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium, CMR researcher Louise Henderson and colleagues examined the performance and outcomes of digital screening mammography among women ages 65 and older. Results of this study were published in December 2014 in Cancer. The researchers found that digital screening mammography specificity, positive predictive value, recall rate, and cancer detection rate improved with increased age.
